Hotel Beethoven Wien -- Very nice hotel in an excellent location near the Naschmarkt. Rooms are small but nice. There are pleasant lounges on the second floor that offer coffee, tea and afternoon treats.
Cafe Do-An -- Good but unremarkable restaurant in the Naschmarkt
Cafe Sperl -- Iconic Viennese cafe. Head back in time.
Gerstner Cafe -- Cake, coffee and friendly staff in an elegant old-world atmosphere
Pane e Cafe -- Yummy cafe near the Kunsthistorisches Museum. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Phil -- cute cafe/bookstore with tasty food. Recommend
Restaurant Bier & Bierli -- Hearty Austrian food. Lively atmosphere.
Vollpension -- Good, old fashioned breakfast food in a cafe that is intentionally designed to look like your grandmother's house -- if your grandma is an elderly Austrian woman with a fondness for knickknacks.
Wrenkh -- Tasty vegetarian food. A little pricey but not outrageously.
