Hotel Residence Agnes -- We absolutely LOVED this hotel. Small rooms but in a convenient location, and the staff literally cannot do enough for you. They gave us free rides to Castle Hill and the train station. Every day, when we returned, we were offered drinks (wine optional) and snacks. They also helped us with suggestions and reservations for restaurants and activities. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.
Cafe Louvre -- Iconic old-world Czech restaurant. Come for the atmosphere, not the food.
Pastacaffe -- Standard but tasty pasta cafe next to the Spanish Synagogue.
Puzzle Salads -- Fast casual place to get a decent salad when you get tired of Czech cuisine.
Roesel Beer and Food -- Great place for drinks and snacks in the Lesser Town. The best raspberry lemonade I have ever had.
U Modre Kachnicky II (The Blue Duckling) -- Tasty traditional Czech food in a vintage atmosphere. Unsurprisingly, their specialty is duck.
Prague Literary & Historical Tours -- Great walking tour through Prague with a young Englishman who has been in Prague studying for his PhD.
