Clarion Congress Hotel -- I really disliked this hotel. Its only advantage was its proximity to the train station but even that is a mixed bag because if you take the most direct route from the hotel to the station, you have to climb three flights of stairs. The shower has glass walls without privacy screens, a hazardously high bathtub rim, no holding bars and is super slippery. Stay in old town and take a taxi to the station.
Cafe Verne -- Reasonably priced but forgettable traditional food with a very nice outdoor seating area by a park and fountain.
Pinch -- Excellent breakfast place near the train station. No English menu but the staff speaks English and Google translate works just fine.
